Pet Pics with the Grinch Raises Vaccination Funds
December 2025, we turned holiday fun into meaningful impact by hosting “Pet Pics with the Grinch,” a festive fundraiser that brought out more than 50 pets and their families. The event raised $500 to help cover vaccination costs for pets in need, with all proceeds going toward supporting local veterinarians in providing essential care. Guests enjoyed holiday treats like cupcakes and hot chocolate while helping make a difference in the community. This was our first year hosting the event — and we plan to make it an annual tradition!

You might recognize Crazy Bone Pet Resort from the radio! We proudly advertise with several local iHeart Media stations, including 102 The River (102.1), Mix100 (99.9), and 107NUS Country (107.1). Our partnership is extra special – one of the iHeart Media reps is also a Crazy Bone pet parent whose dog, Major, stays with us for daycare and boarding.
Crazy Bone Helps Buddy Find His Forever Home
We were excited to be featured on WTAP in January 2023 for helping Buddy, a 7-year-old dog in our care after his owner passed away, find a loving permanent family. After more than three months with us at Crazy Bone Pet Spa, we shared Buddy’s story with the community, and soon after Teresa and Gary reached out to welcome him into their home — even embracing his ongoing medical needs and adventures on their 14 acres. We were proud to play a part in Buddy’s journey to a happy, healthy life with his new family and grateful for the outpouring of support that made it possible.
Buddy Has Found His New “Furever” Home After Staying At Crazy Bone
We were honored to be featured on WTAP in January 2023 when Buddy, the 7-year-old dog who had been staying with us after his owner passed away, finally found his furever family. After caring for Buddy and sharing his story with the community, we were part of the bittersweet moment of handing his leash over to his new owners — giving him the loving, permanent home he deserved. It was an emotional and rewarding milestone for our team as we celebrated Buddy’s new beginning.
The Search to Help Crazy Bone Find Buddy His New “Furever” Home
In January 2023, we were featured on WTAP for our efforts to help Buddy, a 7-year-old Belgian Malinois who came into our care after his owner passed away. While Buddy had become part of our family at Crazy Bone Pet Spa, we shared his story with the community in hopes of finding him a loving, permanent home of his own. Buddy’s journey highlighted both our commitment to caring for pets in transition and the importance of finding furever families for animals in need.
Crazy Bone Hosted a Drive-Up Nail Trim for Pets During Covid
We were proud to be featured on WTAP in April 2020 when we organized a drive-up nail trim event at Crazy Bone Pet Spa to help local pets stay comfortable during the pandemic. With approval from the Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department, pet parents stayed in their cars while our team gently trimmed nails — offering the service for free and accepting donations for local food pantries and pet food support. Thanks to the community’s generosity, we helped more than 500 pets and raised over $2,000 to support those in need.
